I have to say this about Mr. Feathers: The man is much, much more mellow than the music he makes. While he chilled in the station and entertained us with his genuinely nice personality, his music made me want to break it doooowwwwnnnnn. If you like what you hear (and I'm pretty sure you will), make sure to check him out live. He'll be spinning tomorrow at the Awarehouse, Friday at BAR (for his album release party! WHAT!), and Saturday at EVE (which was White Room, but apparently that didn't sit well with someone). You owe it to yourself to check out this awesome local DJ, among other great music during this WMC week. Our comrade-in-arms and fellow Radiate FM member, DJ Two Way, the Ace of Bass, will be spinning Saturday at the same event as Mr. Feathers, so if you needed any extra incentive to head out, don't wait any longer. Did I mention that most of these events are FREE? :D
If you're not much of a night owl, you can bathe in the sweet sounds of Largopalooza this Saturday, starting around noon. Halfway to Moksha, When in Maine, and a host of other great local acts are all waiting for you to come aboard! The cover on the show is going to be $10 for those 12 and older (BABIES ARE FREE!
