=I must say, the Annex is probably my favorite spot to hang out and listen to music.
Turnaround Sunshine had mentioned that they would be playing a show there, so my friend and I went to check them out. They are really good live. Despite only planning on staying to see Turnaround, we'd ended up staying for like 3 or 4 more bands. Not only is the music there great, but so are the people who go there. It's very chill and everyone, for the most part (minus this crazy old man who followed us around), is super nice. Th place itself is rather spectacular. It has a lovely stage and the oddest trinkets scattered throughout the place. They have a classroom setting on the side of the room, a man/animal thing flying out of the wall, scary clown heads, the word 'love', lamps... a COUCH!!! And of course, a lovely picture of a beach setting behind the stage.
